Abstract

A study has been performed in the area of decision support for vessels, focusing on data fusion with decision support for radar signal intelligence information from naval units. A demonstrator has been designed in MatLab to visualize possibilities to obtain a situation picture when using passive radar signal intelligence only. Sensor reports are simulated in a predefined scenario with mobile emitters. The reports are communicated between own units for data association and triangulation. Two different methods of target tracking have been implemented. Ideas on threat assessment, mission- and - to some extent route planning are discussed. Several suggestions on how to continue the development of the demonstrator, and the reconnaissance methods are discussed, these being important parts of this report.
