FoRMA/LUST - Battlespace awareness and decision superiority

The Swedish Defence Research Agency (FOI) has conducted studies concerning DBA (Dominant Battlefield Awareness) and Decision Superiority (DS). The studies are sponsored by the Swedish Armed Forces and has been carried out in co-operation with the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV). The study on DBA is a continuation of an earlier study, and is largely based on a gaming exercise. Conclusions are drawn concerning a network-centric sensor-structure and requirements for communications systems. The study on DS has had its focus on a vision for decision support systems in a future system for command and communication.
