Fusion of image sensor data and digital maps

This report describes, in a ground surveillance system, how to fuse sensor image data and digital maps as well as giving an example of fusion between a SAR image and a digital map. Several different algorithms are described: basic geodesy transformations, the in Sweden common mapping projections, logic operations on polygon data and geometric transformations from sensor data to a map projection for some sensors. Also the digital map produced by Lantmäteriet is described.
