In the present report the standings of the development of a computational tool for interior ballistics simulations are given. To this date the focus has been on identifying key aspects of this type of gas-solid flows to fix a suitable frame for the flow modeling, as well as initiating studies of simpler flow cases to give insight in flow features, combustion modeling, and suitable numerical methods.
