Abstract
The Swedish Naval Forces lessons learned-process consists of methods and tools for gathering, validation and distribution of new experience and knowledge within the Naval Forces. The main purpose is to support the experienced-based learning at an individual level in the organisation. This is possible through the introduction of a quick and efficient channel for knowledge transformation. It should be observed that the Naval Forces lessons learned-process should support and to some extent legitimate an efficient and systematic course of action during the experienced-based learning. At the local level (flotilla and brigade) there are specially appointed so-called lessons learned-administrators. These persons are responsible for that lessons learned-reports are gathered and local seminars are held. LL-administrators from all naval units are organised in a reference group Tactics. The group is called together for at least one tactical workshop per year. During this meeting a validation is held.
