Abstract

At fast charging and discharging of capacitors, it is possible to overcharge these to significantly higher energy density than the nominal value. This report summarise a Master Thesis conducted at the division for electricity and lightning research, Uppsala University, where commercially available capacitors have been fast charged and discharged and their ability to be overcharged has been studied.
