Using PO in multiple scattering for RCS calculation

It has been shown that PO in combination with GO has relatively large limitations when calculating RCS for objects where interactions occur between different parts of the object. A method, PO-PO has been developed to correct the errors occurring when using physical optics together with geometrical optics to calculate multiple reflections. The method has been used to calculate the RCS from a 100 degree dihedral. The results show good agreement with calculations made with the method of moments for vertical polarization which makes the method useful in calculating RCS.
