Abstract
This report is a part of final account of the defense research project "Assessment Electronic warfare in Electro-Optical sensors" for the years 2002-2004. The project is a cooperation of the divisions of Sensor Technology and of Command and Control Systems. The objective of the project is to collect knowledge and to build resource´s doing tests and trials with electro optical sensors in a realistic environment, to creating a foundation of research within electronic warfare assessments of electro optical sensors, as equipments for countermeasures and countercountermeasures together with the integrated protection of vehicles and to study methods of electronic warfare assessments. This report presents some discussion about methods of electronic warfare assessments and pointing at the need of new methods of electronic warfare assessments for IR countermeasure system as DIRCM system. A general stand for directing electro optical equipments towards targets is also presented in this report. This stand can be turned and aimed at a moving target by analog video signals (PAL). The report also account for the work creating different light sources, doing some time and spectral resolved irradiance measurement, as a means for testing threat warning systems.
