Abstract

In the project Electronic Warfare on GNSS, sponsored by the Armed Forces, jamming and anti-jam techniques for GNSS receivers are studied. Antenna arrays and beamforming is used as anti-jam technique, and jamming of such systems is also considered. This report gives an up-to-date overview of the demonstrator development within this project. The demonstrator is general and intended to be used for several tasks. One example is development, and selection, of beamforming algorithms, later to be implemented on a more advanced platform. Measurements of the different parts of the demonstrator have been made. Antenna array measurements showed that the antenna array performs well, and that it should be possible to use it to direct beams towards the satellites. Measurements of the 4-channel front end established high levels of cross-talk between the printed circuit cards and the front end must hence be shielded.
