Annual report 2005 on FOI's NBC defence research

This report summarises the results from the fiscal year 2005 within FOI research area of NBC defence. The report gives a survey of the ongoing activities, the extent and directing of the area and the national and international development in the field of NBC-defence. During 2005 FOI has for example - Supported the Government and defence authorities by making threat analysis and independent assessments of ther threat from weapons of mass destruction - Surveyed dispersion paths for the bacteria that causes the dangerous infection disease tularaemia - Carried out research in order to find new concepts for medical protection against biological warfare agents - Improved the capability to identify and verify NBC agents in various samples
