Analysis of international defence system projects

In the report a framework is developed for analysis of international development projects within the defence industry. The framework is developed in order to support the Ministry of Defence in analysis of international product development collaborations, before decision on Swedish participation. The framework is based in two case studies of product development collaborations within the defence industry. Eight factors are identified as particularly important to consider when assessing international development projects. For example, the companies strategic motives to participate is one important factor, the collaborations organisational factors is another important factor as well as the relationships between Swedish and foreign defence acquisition authorities.
