In this report, results from the basic studies carried out at FOI on the interaction between single, moving plates and long rod penetrators are compiled. Using this information, possible designs of dynamic hard-kill armour concepts using moving plates are suggested. Future work will concentrate on continuum-dynamic simulations of some of the presented concepts and the most promising designs will be studied experimentally.
