Abstract
This is the final report of the project R-detection, dosimetry and threats. The aim of the project has been to make FOI to the leading group in Sweden in the field of detection of surface contamination. The project also aimed at ensuring that FOI has the necessary knowledge to serve as a national expert support within the field of R-detection and dosimetry. The purpose of the Rthreat work has been to describe the threats and risks concerning R-agents that could occur at an international camp and the consequences an incident could have for Swedish troops and staff to continue with their tasks. Within the project we have developed and tested a setup for making contamination measurements in a controlled manner. For dosimetry, we have mainly contributed to the development of knowledge and skills transfer. Within the R-threat part of the project we have developed a couple of scenarios that can be used by e.g. the Armed Forces for exercises. A few manuscripts of articles for scientific journals, which are expected to be published in the near future, have also been produced.
