Abstract
The Urban Damage project started during 2015 and is planned to continue in 2016. The project is funded by the ADD (Agency for Defense Development) and in some parts also by the Swedish Armed Forces. Parts of the project that are financed entirely by the ADD concerns knowledge about the computer program VEBE. This program was developed by FOA to simulate conventional weapons effect in urban areas with the aim of carrying out studies both in the area of civil defence shelters and civil defence rescue operations in the case of an armed conflict in our country. The parts of the project that are co-financed by the ADD and FM concern both the pressure propagation after explosions in built up areas and also the impact of the explosion loads on load bearing walls of buildings and windows. The report briefly describes the activities carried out during the fiscal year 2015.
