Military technology in a twenty-year perspective

This report has been prepared by the FOI project Support for military strategic direction (SMI) and is a compilation of technology with future military relevance. The report aims to provide a basis for the Armed Forces long term study. The authors are employees of FOI and are either experts or has long experience in the respective field. The report details in a short-form a number of selected technologies which has been identified as interesting and relevant in a 20-year time horizon. The basis for the selection of technologies was that it was deemed that they could be deployed within a period of twenty years. The documentation is designed primarily to be used in games and seminars on military technology in the Armed Forces perspective study during 2017.
