The following report contains a market inventory of full face respirators, protection hoods, escape hoods and respiratory filters that was conducted 2017. Products from a number of manufacturers have been listed together with some important parameters. The starting point has been to use information available on the internet to compile a number of parameters for each type of product. The parameters chosen are typically found in requirements specifications, and are linked to the interviews of respiratory protection users made in the MSB 2:4 "Concerted analysis of requirements for respiratory protection - A pilot study"". This compilation gives an overview of and initial information about the products. It can be seen as a snapshot of the market. The market changes over time. Products come and go and are developed further giving changes in performance. This report therefore gives a hint of the actual product performance.
