Abstract
Within the framework of ÖMAS (Management Plan Adapted to Training and Environment) of National Fortifications Administration a database of digital maps has been compiled concerning the training field of Revinge Hed. The database contains extensive data regarding environmental interests, type of soil, water interests, civil and military activities etc. An important quest within the management plan are the consequences in case of spill of chemicals to soil and groundwater. To improve the knowledge regarding the groundwater situation in the area, a groundwater model has been constructed by use of the GMS system (Groundwater Modelling System). The model describes the groundwater flow by layers of 5 metres thickness each, down to a depth of 30 metres. The results of the model shows how the groundwater flow can change with depth and how varying precipitation and infiltration changes the groundwater flow. Supported by the results of the modelling work, comments are made regarding the hydrogeological impact on land use at the training field of Revinge Hed.
