Abstract

We present a proposal for a strategic research activity in the area of Information fusion. This activity is intended to be carried out during 2001-2005. The proposal contains research cooperation between thr Defence Research Establishment (FOA) and university. We propose to create a network of observers from industry and of domain experts from the Armed Forces and the Defence Academy. Cooperation between FOA and university research will be organized as a Ph.D. study program involving supervisors from both university and FOA.
