On the modeling of reacting gas-solid flows - a survey of the literature

In the present work a survey of the literature covering important aspects on modeling of reacting gas-solid flows has been compiled. Typical examples of this kind of flows are interior ballistics of guns and solid rockets, pneumatic transport, fluidization, gas-particle separation, etc. The aim of the study is to identify siiues of relevance for building a computational capability for this type of flows.
