Abstract

The CL-20 that had been prepared in Sweden in an earlier project has been analyzed by HPLC and found to be more than 99% pure. An FT-RAMAN has been developed for the study of small amounts of polymorphic impurities in epsilon CL-20. Gamma CL-20 has been prepared for the first time in Sweden, using a new procedure. Glyoxal has been reacted with several different amines whereby new compounds have been obtained. However. these do not contain the wanted isowurtzitan structure.
