Resource effectiveness in procurement of defence material

Resource effectiveness is the quotient between goal achievement and resource consumption. In the report we are studying if and if so how the information in documents made available to the Ministry of Defence state assessments of goal achievement and aquisition regarding the Armed Forces´ procurement of defence material in a medium and long planning perspective. To obtain the necessary data, the content in different government documents have been studied. The information in these documents regarding goal achievement have been related to economic concepts and the extent of resource consumption. The conclusion is that information about goal achievement as well as resource consumption are dealt with on a very limited basis.
