Abstract
The IR-signature code SIGGE has been validated, using spectral IR-measurements on an engine test rig. Calculations of IR-radiation from gases, such as CO2 and H2O, have been compared with experimental data. The calculations have been made in the wave-number intervals n = 1500-1 cm - 4500 cm-1, with three different resolutions, Dn = 5 cm-1, 16 cm-1 and 25 cm-1. The result is satisfactory and further developments of SIGGE will proceed.
