Abstract
This report presents a class of "graphical" workshop methods for structured brainstorming, based on displaying the participants´ ideas on a working wall for everybody to see. This enables participants to build on each other´s ideas. It also facilitates structuring and prioritising - typically through a voting procedure - the material. The report is based on extensive practical experience from the Oval Mapping Technicque (OMT) and brainstorming for scenario development. The following aspects are treated: practical preconditions and technical support the facilitator role start and focusing creating and structuring prioritisation variations and elaborations; one important aspect is how to create variety and rhythm in a workshop capturing and use of workshop results; this includes the possibility of working with sequences of workshops.
