Abstract
This report presents simulations of the direct target localization method and clustering for AASR - Associative Aperture Synthesis Radar. The simulations are done for direct comparison with theoretical results, where applicable, and also for evaluation of the signal processing in more realistic but also more unpredictable cases. The results show good agreement with predictions, but also indicate where more effort must be put. Neither processing time nor moderate data losses seem to be an issue. However, the combination of large range errors and many targets may require modification of the present clustering algorithm. Also, for low flying targets, height positioning is sensitive for errors in range data.
