Abstract

The status of the development of a computational tool for manoeuvering supercavitating torpedoes is described. Preliminary results from two separate two-dimensional simulations: one of a torpedo shape during a yaw at 20 m/s, and one of a torpedo shape, supercavitating at 100 m/s. Since the cavitation simulation has not yet been finished, the results presented are from the initial stages of the development of a supercavity. The coarse computational grid is reflected in the results.
