A Pulse Detonation Engine using premixed fuel/air and multiple injection has been constructed. Numerical simulations have shown that the hot products remaining from a previous cycle can facilitate the initiation of the detonation in the following pulse, and the engine described in this report has been constructed to study and take advantage of this effect. However, no detonations have been detected in these preliminary experiments, but as a base for the continuing effort a detailed presentation of the obtained result are given.
