Abstract
This report presents the first version of GENPOD (GENetic POD). GENPOD is a component based structure for radar jammer modelling. The developed models are intended to be used in technical duel simulations for electronic warfare assessments on combat and low tactical levels. The simulations can include one-to-one or many-to-many scenarios. The modular design of the radar jammer entails well-defined components and interfaces. There are many advantages with such a structure, e.g., new functionality can easily be added using generic components, updating is facilitated and only necessary code is executed, which results in time profits. Development of GENPOD has taken place in parallel with development of a radar model within EWSim, a framework for electronic warfare duel simulations. Test results from repeater and noise jamming against a surveillance radar are presented as well as suggestions for further work.
