Abstract
The future network and task force based defence with new military strategies have resulted in new requirements for the technical systems intended to support the command in the Swedish Armed Forces. Qualities such as dynamics and flexibility will be of great importance in the development of technical systems aimed to support command. These systems must be able to support information sharing and communication between all units in the Swedish Armed Forces. The project "Ledning Bataljon" manages the development of the technical parts and the methodology of the future ground warfare Command and Control system, using business models in a way of supporting the development process. This document presents a UML business model describing how the mechanized battalion performs their activities. The model has been developed by a project group consisting of system developers, user representatives and domain experts. Other related parts to this document are four appendixes which describes selected tasks in details.
