Testing of Rb 77 SAT-unit

This report gives an account of the testing performed on the SAT unit of Robot 77. The testing has included visual interior and exterior inspection of the unit, check for crack occurrence in the plastic details, check for occurrence of cupper azide using Fe3 Cl, as well as function tests of electric detonators. The visual inspection showed that all plastic details containing the primary igniters had cracks. The cracks occurred at several places. These cracks are with high probability, aging phenomena. Further tests should be performed before SAT units of this type and year are used in order to assure that the safety has not been reduced. No occurrence of cupper azide could be detected. The detonators functioned satisfyingly.
