Radarmålareaberäkningar på Eikon och jämförelse med mätdata

In this report the result from radar cross section (RCS) calculations is presented for the low signature UAV demonstrator Eikon and compared with measured data. Computations are made with the GEMS-codes using the fast multipole method, physical optics and a hybrid between physical optics and the method of moments. Computer resources and executions times are also compared. In addition, result from RCS computations is presented for two modifications of the original geometry of Eikon, in order to reduce the RCS. A brief survey of radar absorbing materials is also given and adapted to reduce the RCS of Eikon.
