Abstract
A program for bistatic calculations of microwave scattering from surfaces showing Gaussian height statistics has been developed. The program can be used as basis for modeling of target-ground interaction, development of theoretical bistatic ground clutter models and reduction of clutter in target recognition. Monostatic calculations have been made at low angle incidence at 5 GHz and for diffrent resolutions on surfaces with Gaussian correlation function. The results show Weibull shaped clutter functions. A number of common theoretical clutter models are presented as well.
