Abstract

During 2006 and 2007, prominent Russian politicians and high-ranking officers have declared changes in Russia´s nuclear policy and posture. Some of these statements seem to be of a political, rather than strategic character, while other indicates actual changes. The aim of this report is to describe, analyse and comment on Russia´s statements on nuclear issues during 2006-2007.
