Abstract

In this report clearance of flight control laws based on optimisation and parameterisation of pilot signals are studied. The purpose is to find the pilot signals that give the worst posible behaviour of the aircraft. The parameter set of the pilot signals is a real valued finite dimentional set. The studied pilot signals are piesewise constant and linear. The resulting optimisation problem is then applied to the following stochastic optimisation algorithms: genetic algorithms, simulated annealing and differential evolution. An overview of optimisation algorithms is also given.
