To assess communication systems in urban environments and plan the infrastructure we need to estimate the radio coverage area. The development of mobile phone systems has encouraged the development of channel models useful to estimate the coverage area. In this report we summarize some frequently used channel models. The aim is to get an overview over the different channel models and when and where they intend to be used.
