Abstract
The purpose of this project was to coordinate a comprehensive demonstration of outcomes from several research projects and to assess their usefulness in the Swedish Armed Forces future Command System. All these projects are funded within the framework of the SwAF R&T Programme at FOI and the National Defence College (NDC). In this report it is described the set up of the demonstration and what was demonstrated by each project. The results of the assessment are also accounted for. We chose to use a by the SwAF well established and developed scenario, namely Bogaland. Of importance for our purpose was the existence of two competing fractions one of which is funded by criminal activities. Our scenario takes place in and around the fictive city of Norradishu. Equipment from the NDC Flexible Command Laboratory was used for the presentation of the outcomes of the different research projects. The assessment was performed by means of a written survey supplemented by a discussion. In general the set up with a comprehensive scenario based demonstration was considered very instructive and worth being repeated. Most of the research outcomes were assessed to have a great potential for contributing to the development of the Swedish Armed Forces. The greatest obstacles to this were considered to be economical.
