The defense knowledge portal, KUPAL, is a web-based, wiki-like content management system, accessible2 from the Swedish Armed Forces (FM), the Swedish Defence Research Agency (FOI), the Swedish National Defence College (FHS), and the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV). The purpose of KUPAL, in short, is to make clear how research and development activities at FOI, FHS and FMV relate to the underlying needs of the Swedish Armed Forces and to facilitate access to and benefit from results emanating from the R&D organizations.
