Abstract

This status report describes the work performed on electrohydrodynamic flow control during the years 2008 and 2009. The experimental work has continued with better equipment for the task. A number of electrode materials and geometries have been studied in an attempt to see how the electric to mechanical efficiency varies with the choice of materials. A simple model of a plasma actuator has been implemented and tested in the aerodynamic code EDGE.
