Weapon system assessment. Summarizing final report 2008-2010

Weapon system assessment is an important capability for the Swedish Armed Forces. The aim of this capability is to provide input for acquisition, threat evaluation, development of protection systems and for tactical evaluation. Weapon system assessment covers several technical domains and has developed methods and several tools and methods have been developed to bring technical knowledge up to a higher system level. The project has in this role been an important link between other projects at FOI, the Swedish Armed Forces and the Swedish Defence Material Administration (FMV). This report is a summary of the project "Flexibla vapen- och skyddssystem", with the purpose of providing a summary of covered activities, how results from the project is beneficial for the Swedish Armed Forces and what will be studied in a near future.
