Detection of small Surface at sea. Final report

This report gives and account of the activities carried out in the three-year FOI project "Detection of Small Surface Targets at Sea", which is funded by the Swedish Armed Forces. The main objective of the project has been to study detection and also classification of small surface targets and thus aid long-term improvements in the area of maritime domain awareness. Our work has mainly involved sensor solutions for small naval surface targets in the areas of radar and electro-optical systems. Simulations and trials performed with the new sensors point to possible capability improvements, but require further work.
