Assessment of weapons and protection, lethality, vulnerability and risk. Project summary 2016

On comission from the Swedish Armed Forces the project "Värdering vapen och skydd, verkan, sårbarhet och risk", in short commonly referred to as "lethality assessment", has been running during 2016. The project has produced a foundation of knowledge in a wide range of activities; all aimed to improve the assessment of various system's performance with a focus on weapons effect's and target vulnerability. In addition, technical data on weapons and munitions that may pose a threat to Swedish personnel and equipment engaged in foreign missions and in the defence of Sweden has been compiled. This report provides a brief description of some of the activities carried out within the project during the year. It also includes presentations of other projects that exploited the knowledge that the R&T project developed, maintained and made available.
