Abstract

This report contains descriptions of models and tools that have been developed within the R&T project Weapon system assessment. The activities have led to that FOI now has thean increased cability to model and simulate ground based air defence systems (GBAD) on a tactical level. Several of the topics and areas described in this report are previously well known, but with the new methods to visualize, review, and modify tactical behaviors, possibilities to analyze and understand the eect of GBAD are achieved. The added abilities provide for simulations of GBAD systems with enough detail and credibility to be used for both studies of systems and training, for example within the premises of the Swedish Air Force Combat Simulation Centre (FLSC).
