Abstract
This report presents two linear missile autopilots, one velocity direction autopilot and one acceleration autopilot. Conventional tail fins and thrust vectoring can be used as controls. The velocity direction autopilot is based on a flight path angle autopilot and generalized to work for arbitrary desired velocity directions. The acceleration autopilot is a classic three-loop autopilot equipped with an integral anti-windup feature. The performance of the autopilots at different conditions are indicated in simulations using a generic skid-to-turn missile. The autopilots, as presented here, are primarily intended for use in simulated environments, as tools for path planning, missile guidance and missile evaluation in general.
