Combat effectiveness for armored warfare

This report describes a method for assessing combat effectiveness of mechanized units. The method can be applied to assess different system design concepts for armored fighting vehicles in a scenario simulation that captures the relevant system performance parameters. The report also demonstrates how the described method can be utilized together with the scenario simulation tool Suss-Mek to conduct a qualitative assessment of mechanized battle on company level and it provides suggestions on how this type of assessment can be utilized in supporting the Swedish Armed Forces and the Defence Procurement Agency
