The report describes today available or in the near future possible power sources, suited for a single soldier: batteries and alternative power sources. Advantages and disadvantages is currently discussed. Factors influencing the choice of power source is further discussed in Appendix 2. Conclusions and recommendations of "best choice" can not be done without knowledge of the power demand of the equipment, the soldiers mission and climate influence.
